Mission and Values
Mission Statement:
Bethany Center supports the ministries of the Diocese of St. Petersburg. We provide meeting spaces, overnight accommodations and outstanding food services with generous hospitality in a spiritual atmosphere. As a Retreat and Conference Facility, we welcome other faith traditions as well as non-profit, community organizations and others seeking fellowship, renewal and personal growth.
VALUES:
We are a ministry of the Catholic Church and our Diocese. We provide a place to Gather, and to be Nourished and Sent. St. James chapel and the surrounding environment is a place of peace, tranquil beauty and spirituality which helps provide guidance for ministry.
We welcome each guest with a spirit of service and hospitality making their unique experience at Bethany Center special.
We are part of the Catholic Church; the Diocese with its Parishes, Schools and Ministries and a member of the Reflections Community. Each individual who worships, visits, or influences Bethany Center is essential to our ministry and prosperity. We encourage our valued volunteers and paid staff to contribute to the best of their ability and by doing so grow personally, professionally, and spiritually with strong lasting bonds to ministry and Bethany Center.
