Hosts and Guests
- An itinerary of your time at Bethany Center is required to be given to our staff no less than three days prior to your event to coordinate multiple groups’ needs and for our in house needs
- Cottage Rooms that are rented by a hosting organization are the responsibility of that organization. The room assignments, key distribution, room condition, policing checkout times and key returns are the responsibility of the hosting organization.
- A representative of the hosting organization must remain on site until the last guest has left the property. This person is responsible for policing guests that are slow to leave.
- Multiple groups sharing Bethany Center are assigned meal times and room assignments at the discretion of Bethany Center management.
- Our standard meal times are 8 am, 12 noon and 6 pm
- All accidents and or injuries need to be reported to Bethany Center Management and an Accident Incident Form must be completed
- It is the responsibility of the host to provide the guest with BC guest policies prior to the event
- Any priest from outside of the Diocese of St. Petersburg that comes to Bethany Center must have his credentials cleared by the Diocese of St. Petersburg Chancellors Office prior to the beginning of the event. Bethany Center must receive this information directly from the Diocese of St. Petersburg Chancellors Office. The Diocese of St. Petersburg web site www.dioceseofstpete.org has all the information needed by the Chancellors Office to have a priest cleared.
- A final count of the number of guests is required seven working days before the event.
- Bethany Center permits multiple groups to use its facilities and grounds, and cannot guarantee sole use of facilities and grounds by any organization
- Rental Time Allowed: Up to eight hours and no later than 10:00 pm the day of the rental without specific approval from Bethany Center management.
- Food and beverage service may only be provided by Bethany Center . Guests may not provide their own food, non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverages for events at Favalora Hall.
- A 10% catering fee is assessed to caterers for all food and beverage sales generated from events catered at Bethany Center. This cost may be passed on to you by the caterer.
- This is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is only permitted at designated smoking gazebos.
- Rice, birdseed, confetti, or potpourri is not permitted to be used or thrown on Bethany Center property. Decorations are not permitted to be affixed to walls, floors, ceiling, or fixtures.
- User and invited guests must use Bethany Center parking. No parking is permitted in the Reflections neighborhood.
- In the event of litigation relating to this agreement, the prevailing party will be entitled to an award of reasonable attorney fees and costs.
Bethany Center Rules
- No littering
- No Swimming or Boating
- No trash, rocks or other items in the ponds wetlands or lakes
- No live bands outside of buildings
- Smoking allowed in designated areas only
- No firearms or weapons of any kind allowed on the premises
- No pyro techniques of any type anywhere on the property
- No guests are allowed in the cart barn or maintenance buildings
- No guests are allowed to use any of the equipment in the kitchen (Favalora Hall) Including the coffee and tea makers
- No guests are allowed to use the laundry equipment
- No guests are allowed to use any of the power equipment-blower, chain saws, etc.
- No driving Vehicles off of the paved roads except for the pursues of parking next to the road
- No more than two guests or one immediate family per cottage room
- Hanging items on the walls or from the ceilings are allowed only with permission of Bethany Center management.
- Hanging items from the ceilings allowed by special permission only
- Event set up prior to the scheduled start time is a maximum of 6 hours if available.
- Golf carts are assigned to individual authorized people only not to groups and should be operated only by that individual.
- Furniture must not be removed from the buildings
- All guest need to respect the space and requirements of other guests. Please do not wander in to some one else’s activity. This includes the chapel.
- All rented items and their set up are the responsibility of the renter.

- Parking is allowed in designated parking areas only.
- Wireless internet availability is offered free of charge but not guaranteed to operate at all times, connections to our wireless equipment is the responsibility of the guest.
- We encourage recycling and provide recycling bins.
- Please have as little impact on the natural setting of this property as possible.
- Tips are not expected and not required
- Exhibitors and presenters are the responsibly of the hosting guest.
Environmental Policy
We strive to provide a clean and welcoming environment for our guests through the promotion of environmental awareness. We train our staff to incorporate good environmental practice in all aspects of our ministry.
